Hesdin is a town that is just under an hour away from the Channel Tunnel in Northern France. It is a beautiful town, typically French!

Hesdin has  a lot of English speaking people. There are a lot of Ex-Pats in Hesdin, and the locals are very good with he fact that that Brits are slowly invading. They are also very happy to hear the English trying their language!

Hesdin has a beautiful town centre, with a river running under the main part, and a beautiful church. Its main industry for certain times of the year is the production of Sugar at the dominating Sugar Beet factory - you wont miss this as you will see the large red and white striped chimney from a  long way away. Hesdin is a wonderful town whose charm will bring you back time and time again. On Thursdays there is the market and in the evenings there is always music piped through the town. Some evenings there is even a free concert put on for the locals. What better way to enjoy a relaxing drink, taking in the atmosphere of the town.
